Sun Wukong,
Sun Wukong, a character in Journey to the West (a famous ancient Chinese mythic novel), is also named Faquir Sun, who is a monkey born from a large rock and has a Buddhist name- Wukong. He has extraordinary magic power and ever caused a great trouble in supernal palace. Later he protected Monk Tang as his prentice to get sutra in the West, eliminating many monsters and demons along the trip. He incarnates the disobedient character of disdaining and rebelling the deity world and its order, and the staunch will of fighting against evil force. He is one of the romantic hero images adorned by Chinese people.
